Coming Right Up!

Hey Hey Hey, It's Kayy!

I havnt forgotten to post at all, but i've been so busy with taking trips that my friend has been so kind to take me on. We went to a mall two hours away a couple days ago and did some school shopping, clothes wise. It was so much fun! And then yesterday, I walked from my house, to downtown where I met my friend again, and we both walked to Joanns C: In total it was only 5 miles because my dad picked us up when we were done, but I have walked there and back which is like 10 miles -____- Ive done it a few times, i've been so out of shape, haha, I need to excersize more, but so far this summer I've lost 5 pounds haha, now I weigh about 105-110, which Isnt bad at all, but im still very lazy -A-

Anyways, and tonight, I will be spending the night at my dear friends house, and will be spending four days with her, I cant wait!  I go over to her house tonight, then in the morning we go to our high school orientation, then we're off for about a 4 hour ride to Grand Rapids, which I guess as a humungous mall with escalators, cant wait!! Anyways, then we spend a night a hotel, the next day is when we go shopping, and we spend another night, and then head back up here :) Just in time to do school SUPPLY shopping and to start school, haha!

Anyways, I took pictures when we went shopping the other day, and Ill make sure to take plenty of pictures over the next few days, and that will be the next post, it'll be a jumbilee of pictures and hauls, haha!  We might even stop at a Michaels craft store, ive never been there! Cant wait!   And don't worry, ill have plenty plenty of artsy pictures too, my friend and I plan to do lots of multi media things, sketching, scrapbooking, art journaling, painting, cant wait!!!

Schoool!!! Im already a Junior!

Hey hey hey it's Kayy!

I know I havnt posted that often, but its alright! Ill be post alot more now that school will be starting in exactly 13 days ;)

For me, school means inspiration, all the people are inspiring, sitting in Algebra II will be inspiring, my Advanced Art class will most definatly be inspiring. Sitting in Civics/Economics will surely bud creativeness out of boredome, but I really do love that class! Civics is for one semester, and economics the other. I was in Civics last year,, and I really did enjoy that class, but alas, my freshman year, I had to go to the hospital for appendicitis, and I was away from school for a couple weeks, and when I got back, I admit that I was not very smart. I got lazy, and did not want to make up my school work, and started not doing the new work I was getting.  Sadly, even though I deserved it, I failed 4 classes that year, Biology, Algebra 1, Honors English 1, and History.  So last year, my sophomore year, I chose to drop Civics/Economics (since I only need 3 years of history classes, its easy to make up)    And I gladly and quickly recovered all of my classes with flying colors, bahaha!  Even though you wont be reading this, I want to thank you Ms. Daniel for all the support you gave me!

Anyways, I always get excited to do the school shopping this time of year, to the point I become overbearing at times, haha. Anyways, I like to come up with my own specific school list, and thought I would like to post it to help anyone who needs it or anyone with kids.  Keep in mine that they are tailored to my classes, and I will be a Junior, so it may not be of great help to much anyone, but might help with the general idea? Un-announced Hiatus

Hey hey hey, Its actually Kayy!

Sorry I havnt posted in so long everyone :( I guess I kind of went on an un-planned hiatus. But Im back, my posts will probably still be spaced out, but at least Im here again.

I havn't really done anything crafty for awhile, I kind of went through a rough patch with some stuff and such. But I'm about to get into sewing, so now I have something I can post about!

I've drawn a little bit but not a ton, nothing worth a blog post about, but hopefully soon that'll change.  I start school in about a month, Ill be going into my Junior year. And when Im in school, that seems to be when I get crafty for some reason, In school is where I get all my ideas and inspiration, haha.

So anyways, yeah, haha. I think I've finally figured out what I want to do for a career and living! I think I want to become a Highschool or College Art Educator or Teacher, haha. Because a little while ago I decided I want to go to an art college, or a college with a really good art program.     Ive even looked at a couple of possibilities where I might go.    I dont know where Im going, but I know what degrees I want to get.  When I graduate from high school (and have my college picked out) I will go there the fall semester and I will be doing all my Undergraduate classes. After those are cleared, I will be working towards my MAE which is my Masters of Art Education, and after that I want to get my MFA, which is just my Masters of Fine Arts.

I think this is the right path for me, but all this was figured out just last night, so I have alot of time to figure it out. I know there are a few pre-college programs I can get into right now, and usually I would go for the fall semester in October, but I want the chance to get to look at a few colleges first, so if I do end up wanting to do this, ill be taking the Spring and possibly Summer semmesters.

On a different note, I'm quite possibly going to be teaching myself how to play on an electric keyboard :)  I know, Im a month away from turning 16, and it might be a bit late to be teaching myself something that kind of seems really difficult for me, but If I really want to do it I think I can :)

Anyways, I think I've rambled enough, if you have thoughts go ahead and share them, Id love to hear them! Again, I apoligize for not posting for so long! Ill try to keep track with it! Because even though I'll have alot more stuff to post about soon, with this college hunt, high school, piano, and everything I might not be able to blog a ton, but hopefully Ill be able to use it as maybe a de-stressor when I can :) Im sure the blog will be okay :)

Hey hey hey, it's Kayy! And I think I have quite a post for you :) I have several things to share with you all today.

First of all, I have a new blanket :) Not just any blanket, my knitted it for me :) You should go check it out, I have a list of blogs in my sidebar down over there ---->

Click on Just A Lil' Bizzee  , thats my mom's blog and her Babe In The Woods Afghan is now finished and posted as of a few days ago.

Secondly, I made a big big origami swan, finished it yesterday :)   You usually take a piece of A4 paper, cut it in half 5 times, and you get all these little rectangles that you're supposed to fold into triangles. Well, I left the A4 paper as it was, and just folded it into triangles.  You can make all kinds of these with these modular units, most common seemingly to me, seems to be a swan :) well I made one, but it ended up way bigger than the palm sized one, of course :P here are some pictures:

Next, yesterday my dad bought me a scanner/printer/copier, and I LOVE IT! I scanned all my decent drawings last night, and we all had fun scanning our faces! I only have a couple of those scans though, most of them were deleted :P

New Layout and Stuffs

Hey hey hey it's Kay!!

Sorry I havn't posted in awhile! I dont know why I havn't >.<  this is just going to be a quick lazy post though, no pictures... but there will be in the next post! Of which I will be showing you all a few of my most recent drawings (which have been turning out decently if I may say so)

Also, I was wondering if maybe you all would like to visit my mom's blog? Her blog is essentially at first about knitting, but theres little bits and pieces of things she works on, like cross-stitching and 3-D Graphics and all that cool Shiznit! Here's the link:  http://justlilbize.blogspot.com/

My Apologies

Hey hey hey, it's Kayy.
I want to start this post with an apology, Im sorry I havn't posted in four days, I havnt really had much to post about, I need to go over past posts for things I said I'd post about though, haha.

In a previous post, I shared my WIP Wednsday with my knitted basketweave afghan, well, I had to frog it, I believe a certain puppy got into it and maybe accidentaly pulled off a few stitches   <.<  >.>

So,  it's been recasted but I still have yet to work on it... I've been trying to get back into sewing though, I still havnt finished the dress I've been meaning to make either,,,, haha.

Oh! I got my hair cut today, well, not really cut, but I got it layer and my bangs cut.. here a couple pictures:

This was how my hair was quite a while ago, I then had it cut about shoulder length (which I have no pictures of)  I also tend not to wear my glasses

And this is my hair today... still debating on whether or not I like my bangs,  but yeah. I guess I ended up looking younger -___- which isnt good because I already got mistaken for a 12 year old all the time, and ill be 16 in three months : /

I don't really know what else to blog about, I guess I oughtta start doing more stuff so I have something to talk about ;D     Still havnt done anything as far as opening an etsy shop with my mom... I have to start making more crafts! Should get an inventory up.. maybe thats what I oughtta spend my summer on, because I havnt done anything this summer, and I dont believe I will : /

Oh! we're going to a kind of family fun thing for 4th of July in Boyne City, theres going to be like, carnival rides, and fireworks and all kinds of stuff, my most favorite being a Craft Fair/ Show thing, ill need to remember to take pictures!!!

RAKs And A Pen-Pal!

Heey heey heey it's Kayy!

It's about time I post! I don't think Ive done one in couple days, which isn't that bad I guess but anyways moving on.

So, I believe I've mentioned before that I'm apart of a site called Ravelry, under the username Kayy-A-Saurus. And well, there is this just WONDERFUL group called Randome Acts of Kindness (Explaining the RAK)

And two wonderful people have Rak'ed me two packages with sewing supplies and such in them, and I just love them! I took pictures as well :) Some are of better quality than others, but yeah.

The first package I got was from a nice lady in Mississippi, here are some pictures:

This is when I first got the package, You wouldnt believe how excited I get for mail and packages! Haha, so yeah, love it!

The contents of the package!! A nice cross-stitch kit, an adorable Piglet iron on, a wonderful little hand-made needle holder and a card to go with it all :) So happy!

This was the caardd.... (which goes up on my big wall of cards and inspirations! Ill have to show you guys my room sometime)

My favorite part of the package!!! This is the needle case, for my sewing needles. Now I wont have to wait for my dad to step on them to find them! D: Poor Dad.  But this is the needle case...

And here it is opened up! Sorry I forgot to rotate the image! But yeah, the flaps and then the flaps in the middle that are standing up are where I stick my needles! Isnt that just handy! I have to transfer all my needles into it now :3

And my second package came from a lady right in Wisconsin! Haha, awesome :D

Here's the actual package, as you can see, I forgot to take a picture before I started to open it xD haha

And it containted a bunch of sewing stuff! There were some really cute and pretty fabrics in there, I should've taken individual pictures, but the one I like best is on the bottom there, when opened up, It's a picture of some birds, it's really pretty, I love birds! Haha, I also got some needles pins and thread and a thimble (is that what they're called? I forgot!)

And here's everything! A set of sewing needles, a little case of metal pins, and three little spools of white thread :) Those will come in hand for my quilt! Thanks lots and lots!!

So, I loved (Love) my packages, so so much :) But yeah, thats what I wanted to share, I have another post coming up later today about working with my dad the past couple days and my trip today, Im about to walk from my house all the way to Wal-Mart, haha xD Ill share with you guys how many miles that is in the next post :)
